CEEK Appoints First Chief Operating Officer as Agency Continues Rapid Growth

Former Omnicom agency leader Caroline Mercurio joins CEEK as its first COO, bringing extensive experience in agency growth, operations and team leadership.

Independent marketing agency CEEK has appointed Caroline Mercurio as its first Chief Operating Officer, marking a significant milestone as the agency enters its next phase of growth.

Mercurio joins CEEK from the United States, bringing more than a decade of experience leading commercial growth, operational excellence and high-performing teams across the marketing industry.

Most recently, she served as Interim Chief Business Officer at Stealth Startup, where she helped scale monthly recurring revenue four-fold within six months. Prior to that, she spent several years at Jump 450 Media, part of Omnicom Media Group, rising from Acquisition Manager to Head of Agency and becoming the first woman to hold the position.

During her tenure, Mercurio oversaw more than £20 million in monthly media investment across a portfolio of over 40 global clients, including Tesla, L’Oréal, Virgin Group, Gap Inc., Coach and Clorox. She also played a key role in securing major client expansions, winning new enterprise accounts and helping deliver one of the agency’s largest multi-market partnerships.

Alongside her commercial achievements, Mercurio is recognised for her people-first leadership approach. At Jump 450 Media, she introduced new feedback channels, career progression frameworks and leadership development programmes, helping drive employee retention to 88% and supporting the development of high-performing teams across the business.

“CEEK has real momentum, an exceptional team, visionary leadership and fantastic clients. From the very first conversation, Charlie and I had an immediate alignment on vision, where CEEK is, and where it can go. The momentum is already there and now my focus is building on that strong growth. It has always been a dream of mine to relocate to London and here we are. I look forward to the next phase both personally and professionally.”

“Caroline has an impressive background, bringing rare and extraordinary experience in scaling agencies, building elite teams and delivering measurable growth for some of the world’s biggest brands. But what stood out most was the alignment on ambition, on culture, and on where the industry is heading. As we continue to expand, her leadership will be instrumental in accelerating that momentum.”

Charlie Terry, Founder and CEO of CEEK

The appointment comes during a period of strong growth for CEEK. The agency recently reported 50% year-on-year growth and expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Grace Flusfeder as Head of Social & Creative.

Founded in 2016, CEEK is an omnichannel digital marketing agency specialising in SEO, social media, influencer marketing, paid performance and paid media. Headquartered in Soho, London, the agency works with brands across multiple sectors to increase visibility and drive measurable business results in an increasingly AI-driven marketing landscape.
