A first-event of its kind took place last week, hosted by talent management agency, FARQ.
On Wednesday 13th August, ‘Friends of FARQ: The Creator Lunch’, brought together creators across the industry – and specifically not those on the agency’s roster – for an exclusive day of connection, collaboration and practical learning focusing on building sustainable businesses beyond social media.
Taking place at Tewinbury Farm Hotel, Hertfordshire, the intimate lunch was developed in response to the challenges many creators face today, from changing algorithms and fluctuating brand budgets to the pressure of relying on a single source of income. Throughout the day, attendees heard from a selection of guest speakers, take part in honest discussions around revenue diversification and business growth, and build meaningful connections with like-minded creators.

Following the first event, the agency is extending their support beyond its own roster, creating a space where creators can learn from one another, exchange ideas and gain practical strategies for building sustainable businesses in an ever-evolving creator economy.
Commenting on the launch, Georgia said:
“After years of working with creators, I’ve learned that this industry can be incredibly lonely. Creators are often surrounded by people online, but when it comes to making big business decisions, navigating algorithm changes or figuring out what’s next, most creators are doing it alone. Friends of FARQ is something we’re incredibly excited to launch. We have a long list of creators that we’re unable to support exclusively on our roster, but we wanted a way of still helping them flourish in their careers. We wanted to bring together a carefully curated room of people who believe in sharing ideas and supporting each other. My hope is that everyone leaves not only with practical advice they can apply to their business, but also new connections and a stronger sense of community. The creator economy is changing rapidly, and we believe collaboration – not competition – is what will help creators thrive for the long term.”

Speaking about her experience at the event, attendee Olivia Munro shared:
“First things first- oh how I wish something like this was around in my early days of finding my feet in the content world! Because even 3 years in I learn an incredible amount of stuff I didn’t know about! Instead of winging my way through all this time I could have had clear vision and goals to help me. Highly highly recommend to anyone- both those starting out and anyone a little further along their journey that still feels like their head is spinning!”
