The leading Talent Management recruitment agency
$70,000–$100,000 base + commission | New York City, Full time, Office-based
About the company
Our client is a boutique creator management agency in New York. They represent a hand-picked roster of digital creators across lifestyle, beauty, fashion and entertainment. They keep the roster small on purpose, so every client gets close attention and long-term career planning. As the agency grows, they’re looking for a Talent Manager to look after part of the roster and help bring in new talent.
The role
You’ll be the main point of contact for your creators and take an active part in their careers. That means landing brand partnerships, shaping content strategy and opening up new income streams. The role suits someone who builds strong relationships, loves the creator economy and enjoys a deal.
What you’ll do
- Manage a roster of creators day to day, as their main contact and strategic advisor
- Find, pitch and negotiate brand partnerships, from single campaigns to long-term ambassador deals
- Build and keep relationships with brands, agencies and platform partners
- Oversee campaigns from brief to delivery so content goes out on time and to a high standard
- Plan long-term career strategy with your creators, including new platforms, products, licensing and other ventures
- Spot and sign promising new talent
- Keep up with platform trends, rate benchmarks and industry changes
- Track deals, contracts, invoicing and reporting accurately
What you’ll bring
- 2–4+ years in talent management, influencer marketing, brand partnerships or a similar role
- A proven record of negotiating and closing brand deals
- An existing network across brands and agencies (strongly preferred)
- A solid grasp of the social media landscape across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, and of creator monetisation
- Strong organisation: you can juggle several clients and deadlines without dropping anything
- Confident, clear and personable communication
- An entrepreneurial, commercially minded approach
What’s on offer
- $70,000–$100,000 base salary, depending on experience
- Competitive commission on deals you close
- A close-knit team in a Manhattan office with a collaborative culture
- Real influence on the agency’s growth and direction
- Room to build and grow your own roster
