From Brands to Talent
For Lulu Cockayne, founder of Lulu’s Talent Management, the decision to start her own agency wasn’t just a career move – it was a calling.
Lulu’s journey began on the brand side, working in event booking and brand gifting. “It gave me a solid understanding of how campaigns are built and how brands connect with audiences,” she reflects. But it was stepping into talent management where everything truly clicked: “I fell in love with representing people, finding the right opportunities, and supporting career growth every step of the way.”
A Journey of Discovery
After several years in the industry, Lulu decided to pause and take six months to backpack across Southeast Asia. That time away proved pivotal. “Those months weren’t just about travel, they were about having conversations with incredible people and realising what truly makes me tick. What I discovered is simple: I thrive when I’m helping others build something for themselves.”
Taking the Leap
That realisation gave her the courage to take the leap and launch Lulu’s Talent Management. Founded on trust, authenticity, and dedication, her agency has a clear mission: to work with a carefully chosen group of talent, providing the time, attention, and tailored support needed to help each individual thrive.
“I’m not interested in building the biggest roster,” she explains. “I’m interested in building the most supportive relationships. I want every client to know they can count on me.”
Building Authentic Partnerships
Now back in the UK, Lulu is focused on collaborating with creators, brands, and PR teams to forge partnerships that are both meaningful and impactful. For her, it’s about more than campaigns—it’s about discovery, connection, and storytelling that resonates on both sides.
As she sums it up: “The adventures might look different from trekking across Asia, but the spirit is the same: discovery, connection, and the thrill of what comes next.”
What’s Next for Lulu’s Talent Management
With Lulu’s Talent Management entering its first chapter, the agency is already positioning itself as a hub for authentic relationships and career growth in the creator economy — and at The Talent Times, we can’t wait to see what’s next.
