A new player is entering the UK’s scripted landscape. After six years honing her craft across some of the most respected agencies in the business, Louisa Minghella is striking out on her own with the launch of Minghella Creative Management – an independent management company representing writers and directors across film, TV and theatre.
The London-based agency opens with a carefully curated roster. Current clients include director Douglas Mackinnon, whose credits span Doctor Who, Sherlock and The Rig; Joanne Lau, who has multiple TV projects in advanced development alongside a rom-com feature in financing; BAFTA Scotland winner Michael Lee Richardson; and BAFTA Breakthrough nominee Samantha O’Rourke.
Speaking on the launch, Louisa shared:
I am so excited to fly my own flag with Minghella’s. I have had a fantastic 6 years developing my list and style of representation as part of established agencies and sharing desks with agents I will always be in awe of. I owe my clients everything and I am so grateful to them for agreeing to come on this new adventure with me. I look forward to building my future and pursuing my passion for authentic representation, with a focus on the individual creative (as well as commercial) fulfilment of my clients.
Minghella Creative Management will focus on boutique representation for talent from historically under-served backgrounds – supporting original voices with space to grow both creatively and commercially.
Louisa’s own background spans development and production, working across independent shorts, major network television and international blockbusters before transitioning into talent representation. Her producing credits include viral political project We Wants It starring Andy Serkis. She trained at Blake Friedmann Literary Agency before moving to The Soho Agency and later Revolution Talent, where she will remain until Christmas 2025.
Minghella Creative Management will begin trading in January 2026.
