The Opportunity: SUMO is hiring an experienced Senior Talent Manager to build and grow a carefully curated roster of digital creators across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, podcasting and beyond.
This is a strategic, hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to do more than manage day-to-day relationships. You’ll help talent build sustainable, long-term careers while developing a commercially successful roster of your own.
Why This Role Stands Out
The strongest talent managers aren’t necessarily those with the biggest rosters. They’re the ones who understand their talent, identify the right opportunities and create strategies that genuinely move their careers forward.
That principle sits at the heart of this role.
Rather than taking a high-volume approach, you’ll build and manage a curated portfolio of digital talent. You’ll develop individual career strategies spanning brand partnerships, product launches, podcasting, publishing, licensing and wider IP opportunities.
While the role covers multiple platforms, the focus extends far beyond securing the next brand deal. You’ll consider how each person can grow beyond their existing audience, uncover new revenue streams and build the partnerships that will support their long-term ambitions.
It’s an opportunity for an experienced manager with strong commercial instincts, a strategic mindset and a genuine understanding of how successful careers are built within the creator economy.
The Numbers
- Base: $90,000 – $120,000 (depending on experience)
- Commission: Competitive performance-based structure tied to deals closed and revenue generated
- Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k) with matching, flexible remote work
- Growth: Clear progression opportunities and support for industry networking
Location: Remote, United States
Why Now?
The creator economy has matured. The days of pure luck and viral moments are behind us. What creators need now is professional management—people who understand business strategy, revenue diversification, and long-term positioning.
SUMO Talent is a leading digital talent management agency. They’re building teams of managers who actually understand this space. This is a rare opportunity to join an agency that treats creator management as a strategy practice, not a transaction business.
If you’re ready to move from managing creators to building a creator business, this is worth a serious look.
