TikTok has unveiled the five UK creators joining its 2025 Change Makers Program, a five-month initiative designed to support mission-driven creators making a positive impact both on and off the platform.
Now in its second year, the program celebrates and elevates creators using their platforms for good – from championing mental health to advancing digital safety and environmental awareness. Over the next five months, TikTok will provide the Change Makers with training, resources, and real-world opportunities to amplify their voices and connect them with peers and leaders driving social change.
“From championing mental health to advancing digital safety, creators on TikTok are turning their passions into real-world impact, rallying over 1 billion people to connect, learn, and drive change through authentic stories,” TikTok said in a statement. “TikTok’s collective power mobilises communities, ignites global conversations, and fuels tangible progress worldwide.”

Dr Alex George (@dralexgeorge)
An Emergency Medicine doctor turned mental health advocate, Dr Alex uses TikTok to make mental health advice accessible, relatable, and stigma-free.
“I use TikTok to make mental health advice accessible, relatable, and stigma-free. By sharing tools for mental fitness, honest conversations, and my own experiences, I aim to help people feel understood, supported, and empowered to look after their well-being.”
Sophia Smith Galer (@sophiasmithgaler)
An award-winning journalist and author, Sophia has redefined digital storytelling, using TikTok to deliver investigative and educational content that drives awareness around gender, sexual health, and online misinformation.
“I have fought throughout my journalism career for better information ecosystems and the harnessing of social media for good; I’m thrilled to get this recognition and can’t wait to be a part of this.” Sophia said.
Dr Kirren Schnack (@drkirren)
A clinical psychologist known for her calm and practical approach to mental health, Dr Kirren has built a trusted following by offering guidance on topics such as self-soothing, therapy, and managing anxiety.
“Mental health is part of being human. None of us choose the weight of what we carry — but we can all learn to hold it differently, with more strength, awareness, and care. That’s what I want to help people with, change, healing, and growth.” she said.
Eleonora Svanberg (@eleonorasvanberg)
A mathematical physics PhD student at the University of Oxford, Eleonora is using her platform to make STEM feel inclusive and accessible.
“No one should be pushed away from science by stereotypes, limited information or a lack of relatable role models. My mission is to show that STEM is a place where everyone belongs!”
Sam Bentley (@sambentley)
Sam brings positivity to TikTok feeds by highlighting good news and sustainability stories from around the world — from reforestation efforts to ocean cleanups.
“Thereʼs so many people fighting to create a better planet, we just donʼt hear their stories. I use TikTok to bring those stories to peopleʼs feeds and spotlight the people on the frontlines of climate action who deserve to be seen and celebrated.” Sam said.
Through initiatives like the Change Makers Program, TikTok continues to position itself as more than a platform for entertainment – but a space where movements are built and creators drive real-world change.
