TWIN Launches New Talent Agency for Experts and Changemakers

How a climate scientist is building a talent agency around substance, not followers.

Founded by climate scientist Matthew Holehouse, TWIN will represent talent using their knowledge and platforms to drive meaningful social and environmental change.

A new talent agency focused on experts, changemakers and purpose-led influence has officially launched. Founded by Matthew Holehouse, TWIN will represent talent whose work spans climate action, science, conservation, geopolitics, culture and technology.

Rather than focusing solely on reach and follower numbers, TWIN has been created to champion individuals with knowledge, experience and a desire to make a difference. Matthew’s background in climate science helped shape the agency’s approach and its belief that influence should be built around substance as well as audience.

The creator economy asks how many people you can reach. We ask whether you have anything worth saying when you get there. I came to this from a background in climate science, so I didn’t want to build another agency asking how many followers you have. I wanted one that asks what you know, what you’ve done, and what you’re trying to change.

That’s the kind of influence I want to build at TWIN. I believe influence can be a force for good.

Matthew Holehouse, Founder

TWIN launches with a roster of six talent working across a variety of specialist areas. Climate expert Sage Lenier joins the agency from New York, alongside footballer and climate action advocate Alexei Rojas. The roster also includes ecologist and conservationist Rhys and psychedelic neuroscientist Tommaso Barba.

Completing the agency’s launch roster are Emily, a geopolitical and cultural commentator, and Kalpana Arias, an urban nature and climate technologist.

Together, the six founding names reflect the type of talent TWIN plans to support: people with specialist knowledge, clear perspectives and the ability to make complex or important subjects accessible to wider audiences.

While its initial roster has a strong focus on climate, science and the natural world, the agency plans to expand into other areas of social impact as it grows. Matty hopes TWIN will eventually represent voices working across fields including human rights and artificial intelligence, with further talent already being lined up following the launch.

Through its expert-led approach, TWIN enters the market with a clear proposition: to build meaningful influence around what its talent knows, what they have achieved and the change they want to create.
